OLD BUSINESS ANNUAL DINNER: Board was notified that the schools would not be able to supply place mats for the Annual Dinner. After discussion, it was decided to have door prizes and drawings, as the seniors look forward to this. A suggestion was made to play tapes, in lieu of live music. PERSONNEL: After much discussion about Board Member John Montgomery not attending any Board meetings, a motion was MADE, SECONDED and VOTED that Rheta write a letter to the Selectmen outlining the chronology of events leading up to the Board's decision, asking that they drop him.... Aloyse also brought up the fact that Volunteers, some who have faithfully worked for the Council on Aging for over 10 years, felt they should have some privileges, such as tickets for some of the affairs going on, but it was decided to leave the distribution of tickets as VOTED on 9/15/86 and - see what happens. Dick promised that next printing will correct this and emphasized that it was an unintentional oversight.
