The Secretary's report was accepted as rendered. There was no Treasurer's report, however, Mr. Rennison stated the Council had returned $6,646.24 for the fiscal year 1978-1979. Reading Selectmen Maureen O'Brien and James Sullivan were present at the meeting. A lively discussion ensued concerning Meals on Wheels volunteers, friendly visitors, etc. Mr. Sullivan suggested using young people from the High School as Meals on Wheels drivers.
