7:30 in the Recreation Hall at Tannerville.
The Secretary's report was accepted as rendered.
Mr. Rennison welcomed Betty Knox and Andy Mulhinch as Board Members, after
which election of officers was held. John MacDonnell moved to have Mr.
Rennison and Mr. Lemaire continue as Chairman and Vice Chairman respec-
tively. This was approved by the Board Members.
The Chairman announced he had received a complaint concerning travel trips
being coordinated from the office by Mrs. McKinley. This had been pre-
viously approved by the Board. However, they now feel it should not be
handled from the office unless a Senior Citizen or a representative from
the Travel Agency is present to handle any details involving the trips.
Mary Ottino, Andy Mulhinch, and Jay Dumas were appointed by the Chairman to
update the "Guidelines for the Secretary".
Mr. Rennison announced the cookout which was held on June 28th with enter-
tainment by "The Crystal Belles" was a smashing success as was the Bingo
held on July 12.
The picnic and games for July 26th was discussed--it was decided to have
Mary Ottino pick the games and prizes for the evening. Lorna Knapp, Chair-
man for the August 23rd evening announced she has reserved the film "Old
Fashioned Woman" the story of. Mabel Coolidge for the entertainment. An
ice cream Smorgasbord will also be provided.

of $2.00 per person provided there are at least five passengers.

very few people are using this service. It was suggested that the time

Mr. Rennison will try to contact a Podiatrist from this area to pro-
vide service to our Senior Citizens. The Drop-in-Center could be
used for this with each individual paying his/her own fee.
At the suggestion of Harold Wyatt we will plan to invite the members
of the Reading Housing Authority to our September meeting. Mr. Wyatt
feels we should organize a Housing Study for the coming year.
Mr. Wyatt also feels we should make the Selectman aware of the needs
of the Elderly in Reading.
Luigi Sablone reported that Sambo's had 42 tickets for the Red Sox game
on July 26th which they wanted us to use. Because of the lteness of the
offer and a conflict with our Sumer Evening Program it was voted to de-

who own cars or live in a household where there is a car and driver
