Regular Meeting
October 16, 1978
The regular meeting of the Council on Aging was ?geld on
Monday, October 16, 1978 at 700 P.M. at Tannerville.
The Secretary®s report was accepted as rendered. There was
no Treasurer's report.
Mr. Lemaire announced that Burlington Dredge was the only bid-
der on the Van. The sellin price being $7511.-less trade-in
of $1180.,-net due $6331. Delivery can be expected in sixty
days.
The Annual Dinner will be held on November 12 at Austin Prep
at 1:04 P.M. with an. Ecumenical Service at noon.
A motion was made by Jay Dumas seconded by Dr. Guerra to do-
nat $100. to Austin Prep for the generosity.
Betty Louan.is and Sally Carroll will handle the dinner reser-
vations. There will be limit of 400 reservations.
Lorna Knapp and Harold Wyatt discussed charging each person
$.25 per class. It was also suggested that perhaps the Patrons
of Older Adults would be willing to sponsor some of the classes.
Discussion will continue at the neat meetings
Due to the large number of people who want to attend the classes
it was voted to add another Knitting and Crocheting Class and
Craft Class. A motion made by Jay Dumas and seconded by Lorna
Knapp to tansfer money out of another account to pay for the ad-
ditional classes.
Mr. Lemaire suggested Luigi be instructed to refer people to
the Council Office if they have any complaints concerning prom
grams, etc.

son may make up a class at the discretion of the teacher and.
