The m.eetin,was called to order at 7:45 p.m.
_'he Treasurers report was accepted as read ?C 7 201.13
_.rs. Hodson asked Jay Du:~nas to go to Sweetheart lastics and- purchase picnic
supplies for the Summer Program.
The Doa rd received a letter from Aary Babcock Lregi.stering a series of complaints
about Council activities. Nx-s Babcock was present to explain each the letter.
Each com,-,laint was thourou ,hly discussed by the Council. xx-rs ` Hodson assured
rlrs. 3abcock that the Council was doing everything possible, but with the varied
interests of the elderly it is very difficult to satisfy all parties, involved.
IIr. Dumas and Mrs. Dube" both advised _{rs. Babcock that they would not accept he
complaints as the general is eelin simony the elderly, because she had nothing to
suppoart her charges.

Received letters o:° resignation from '.'erna, Lantz, Fred Emrich, Edith Sias,
Mrs. Hodson, and Patricia relosi,
The Board then instructed Dirs. pelosi to put an add in the paper requesting
resumes "o-r the position of secretary, to the Councii on Aging. i rs, Hodson
then asked for volunteers to set up a screening committee. Verna Lantz,
Edith Sias, Jean Dube", and Jay Dumas volunteered.
`.'.here will be a Council on Aging eeting ay 24, 1977, when the Surlier Schedule
will be finalized.
