Regular Meeting, Sept, 26
The regular meeting of the Council on Aging was held Wednesday
September 26, 1973 at 7:45 P.M. in the Recreation Building of he dousing
f or° the Elderly, 1 Fran D. Tanner Drive.
The Chairman, rrs. Nathalie C. Beaton Called the meeting to order
with the following members present; Mr, Charles Strattonv {ors, Jean Dube',
.'sir. Donald Farnham, g Il izabeth Louani-s, Reverend. Frederick Emrich,
and Mrs, Edith Sias, Dr, Vincent Guerra, Mrs, Marian lyminski, secretary
and Mr. Luigi A Cablone,dri vex were also present,
Mrs. Beaton welcomed Dr, Guerra who had been recommended to the
Selectmen by the Board of Health as their designee for membership on the
Counciel.
Dr. Guerra explained to the Counci.l members the class that will
be conducted in the Health and Exercise Program. Firs. Norma H(:)pkin8
will conduct a mild. 20 minute exercise class and the R.V.N.A® will speak
on nutrition. 1"t was the consensus of opinion, that a Physical Therapist
should: advise Mrs. Hopkins, 'eight and Blood :pressure will continue to
be taken. On motion duly dw by Reverend Emrich and seconded, it was

unanimously:
That we delete the Flu Shot Clinic from the program.

Adults, Inc. meetings and asking for their support.

On motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously:
VOTED: To change the name of the Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner to thel~
"Annual inner" and to change the menu, The dinner will be held on Nov.
15, 1973 at 12:30 P.M. Mrs. Louanis and. Mr. Farnham will look: into a menu.

of classes to those over 6 to learn what is available for -the elderly.
