The meeting was called to order by Ms. Beato"nte, wto had been appointed
Chairman of the Council b the Selectmen on August nth. Those present in addition

After further detailed consideration of the budget, it was unanimously:

It was decided to look into the possibility of °-ot spending all of the
accumulated money from the various Fairs in the year 1972 Mrs. Beaton suggested

Mrs. Beaton gave a. report on the number of people attending classes
this fall, having received :frog? As. Fierce the figure of 113 applications from
individuals for the courses# It was decided to provide supplies for the people
in. the new classes to get started. Mrs. :you. n:is suggested that those in classes
be encouraged to contribute some of their knitting or other crafts to cormunity
projects, such as afghans for nursing homes or hospitals.

years of age or over be allowed to attend classes even if they are under ann,, but

There being no further business to come before the meeting, and upon
motion duly mace and seconded,, it was unanimously voted to adjourn, and the
Chairman adjourned the meeting at 10:1 P.M.
