Those in attendance were: R. D'Antona, D. Farnham, R. Graham, R. Grasso, J. Lupi, P. O'Leary, B. Poock, R. Sanstad and D. Williams. Presentations from three architectural firms for the Parker Project were received. Those firms presenting were: - Keyes Associates -Design Partnership of Cambridge - Earl R. Flansburgh + Associates The presentations included a question and answer period and were very informative. In preparation for the vote selecting the architect, several actions were identified. These included: - D. Williams to check the candidates references and report back to the full committee prior to the vote on February 23; - J. Lupi to confirm with Town Counsel that we are properly following all legal procedures; . - all Committee members to read and familiarize themselves with the evaluation and selection criteria distributed by D. Farnham. R. Graham gave a report of progress in his task of writing the warrant article for Town Meeting. He reported that in a meeting with the Town Manager, the issue of whether the elementary school project should be split into two projects was discussed. It was the consensus of the full committee that the project should be presented as one, and not split as two separate and distinct projects. This would be on the condition that all legal requirements are met. If it became a legal issue, then it would be presented to Town Meeting as two separate projects. To conclude this action, Russ was asked to set up another planning session with the Town Manager and Town Treasurer. The meeting was adjourned at 10:35 PM.
