Those in attendance were: R. D'Antona, D. Farnham, R. Sanstad, J. Lupi, D. Williams, R. Grosso, B. Poock, R. Graham, M. Cowell, Paul O'Leary, Dr. Jack Delaney and one visitor. The meeting was devoted to the evaluation and ranking of the six (6) architects that had made presentations on February 2 and 9, 1993. Mr. Lupi presented a rating scheme based on the RFP. Items to be rated were: 1) Prior experience, 2) Past performance, 3) Financial stability, 4) Identity and quality of sub consultants, 5) Presentation and 6) References. Scoring was to be 0 - 10 (9- 10 excellent, 7-8 good, 5-6 fair, 0-5 unsatisfactory). Each member expressed her/his views on each architect. Then Dr. Jack Delaney, not a voting member of the committee, expressed his impressions and thoughts on the architects as he had escorted each of them through the Parker School. Mr. David Williams reported on his effort on checking the references of the architects. Then the Committee decided to rate each category by voting. Roger Sanstad conducted this polling and he entered the average evaluation from all voting members. This evaluation resulted in the table attached. Because the top three were so close, there was at least another half hour discussion by the members on the top three architects. Then it was agreed unanimously to vote first for the number three ranking. The vote was 9 for Earl R. Flansburgh (one voting member M. Cowell had departed). Then the Committee voted for first ranking. There were six votes for the Design Partnership of Cambridge and three votes for DiNisco Kretsch and Associates. Hence the ranking was determined to be: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) The Design Partnership of Cambridge DiNisco Kretsch and Associates Earl R.
