Peter Hechenbleikner reviewed the construction progress. Graham has purchased
Riverview Architectural Products, the window supplier for the Police Station. Graham
will manufacture the windows, but will not warranty the windows. AWS, the company
that will install the windows, will warranty the windows for ten years without any
additional cost. Bryan Irwin stated from past experience how important the warranty is.
He said to make sure there is a warranty. The windows are scheduled for delivery around
November 12, 1999.
Paul French reviewed the change orders. The net range of total change orders is $18,000.
This includes the most recent change order of $1,500. for work to the antennae tower.
The building's completion has been delayed and is not expected until February 15, 2000.
This date could be delayed further if there are more problems with the windows. The
Issue of Liquidated Damages was discussed. The Town has agreed to extend the
completion date to January 15, 1999 without fees.

The Town will install the curbing around Antons Cleaners. It is the same curbing that will
be used around the downtown area. The contractor will install the curbing around Middle
Street.
Although the neighborhood has been very cooperative during the construction, there have
been a few complaints during the gas line installation on the street.
The office furnishings for the police station will cost approximately $50,000. to $55,000.
That price would include shelf work in the storage area. The existing communication
system will be moved to the new building. Jim Cormier asked if there is any money left
over could it be used on new computers?
Paul French reported the sheet rock would be installed in a month. He also suggested a
traffic pattern study should be performed.
