Jonathan Barnes, CPDC - Tom Baillie . CPDC , Joe Delaney, Town Engineer CIO Meeting opened at 7:38 P.M. PUBLIC INPUT: Brad Latham presented Bear Hill plans for endorsement. Joe Delaney had some minor comments but stated he was satisfied with the plans as presented. Some Commission members had comments also. There was a consensus that phasing of construction of activities and the notification of these activities between town government representatives and the applicant's representatives would be performed. Dick Howard made a motion to endorse the Bear Hill plans as presented. The motion was seconded by Tom Baillie. The CPDC voted to endorse the plans by a vote of 4:0. Dick Howard made a motion to accept the minutes of June 27, 1995 meeting. Jonathan Barnes seconded the motion. CPDC voted to accept minutes by a vote of 4:0. Dick Howard made a motion to accept the minutes of July 10, 1995 meeting. Jonathan Barnes seconded the motion. CPDC voted to accept the minutes by a vote of 4:0. PUBLIC HEARING: STRAWBERRY HILL LANE DEFINITIVE SUBDIVISION PLANS 8:00 P.M. Public Hearing opened for Strawberry Hill Lane. Mark Favaloro represented the applicant and proceeded to discuss the proposed subdivision. John Olron of Hayes Engineering proceeded to discus the engineering aspects of the subdivision. After completion of the presentation, Bryan Irwin, read the Town Planners' comments. Joe Delaney proceeded to review his comments on Strawberry Hill Lane. Joe handed out a memo describing his comments to the CPDC members. The majority of the Town Engineer's concerns were directed to the site run-off and drainage capacities. Bryan Irwin read the comments of the Joint Review Committee. Nancy Eaton of Conservation Commission gave a review of the status of the project with the commission. She noted they had concerns about drainage. Brad Latham stated that he is representing 15 families in the area. These families own homes in the neighborhood that abut the proposed project. Mr. Latham stated concerns about drainage, run-off, and the design of the system to mitigate the above. Discussion was then open to the public. Motion was made by Dick Howard to continue the public hearing on Strawberry Hill Lane to August 28, 1995. Jonathan Barnes seconded the motion. The applicant agreed to an extension of application to August 30, 1995, and the Commission approved the motion by a vote of 4:0:0. PUBLIC HEARING: MARION ROAD PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLANS A Public Hearing opened for preliminary subdivision for Marion Road at 9:23 P.M. Ken DeRaphael the applicant represented his company Kenwood Development. Mr. Cuoco from Cuoco & Cormier reviewed the engineering aspects of the project. Bryan Irwin read the Town Planner's comments, and the Joint Development Review Committee Comments. Discussion was then opened to the public. Nancy Eaton from the Conservation Commission made some comments concerning conservation issue. Dick Howard made a motion to close the public hearing on Marion Road. Jonathan Barnes seconded the motion. The CPDC voted 4:0 to close the public hearing. Dick Howard moved to disapprove the preliminary plans for Marion Road. Tom Baillie seconded the motion. The ` CPDC voted 4:0 to disapprove the preliminary plans for Marion Rd. OTHER BUSINESS: Discussion occurred about the meeting on August 14th. It was decided a quorum could not be obtained so it was mutually decided to change the meeting date to August 21 st. Tom Baillie moved to adjourn. Jonathan Barnes seconded the motion.
