MASS. 2QO2 JUL 3 0 A 8 514 Present: Nancy Eaton, Chainnan; Commissioners Will Finch and Patricia Lloyd; Fran Fink, Administrator; Leo Kenney, consultant Absent: Mark Gillis Vice Chairman; Thad Berry, Vincent Falcione, Doug Greene, Commissioners; and Harold Hulse, consultant 7:10 - Meeting called to order. Quorum was not present. Commissioners reviewed and signed a letter to Zoning Board of Appeals concerning proposed development of Lot 19, Willow Street. Commissioners discussed condition of Thelin Sanctuary. Administrator will inspect site. Commissioners discussed report of cracks in concrete retaining walls at roadway crossing and sunken manhole cover in Sunset Rock Lane. Administrator will report information to DPW. Some of the blue signs at the CR Area bounds may be falling off. Commissioners discussed meeting schedules for September and October and scheduled a site visit at 111 Lilah Lane for Tuesday, August 21, at 6:30 PM. Commissioners reviewed Reading General Bylaws, Section 5.7, and Reading Wetlands Protection Regulations and discussed various possible amendments. Administrator will draft amendments and find out requirements for making amendments (notice, public hearing, Town Meeting, etc.). Copy of draft amendments will be sent to Town Counsel for review. Commission planned to meet again August 22, 2001, to continue the discussion. The meeting was adjourned. 1
