Hulse, Chairman; W. Cochrane, Vice Chairman; M.C.Proctor; J. Nickerson; R. Longley; C. Anthony; and B. MacKillop, Administrator 7:90 p.m. Public Meeting - Request for Determination of Applicability Jack Halliday of D.L.Maher Co., to drill a 6 inch diameter bedrock well on property of Eric's Greenhouses & Garden Center at 1090 Main St. Meeting opened, recorded and closed. VOTED 6-0-0 Later in evening Commission voted to issue a negative determination under Chap. 131,S40. VOTED 5-0-0 A motion was made and seconded to issue negative determination under Art. 32 with conditions as amended. VOTED 5-0-0 7:15 p.m. CORRESPONDENCE was read and discussed. Lots 209-B & lA - 68 Sanborn Lane - Phase III Mr. Griset, the owner, spoke to Commission and presented a new plan showing flood storage replacement area to be located in a different location than originally proposed, so 40-45 swamp maples could be saved. Permission from abutting landowner has been given to perform work on his land on Cedar Glen property. Mr. Rivers stated that he had not yet seen the plan but he is in agreement with the general concept. Beth recommended that it be considered an insignificant change to the original filing. A motion was made and seconded that this be considered an insignificant change and the plan be accepted as shown on March 22, 1988. Meeting opened, recorded and closed at 8:35 p.m. VOTED 6-0-0 Later in evening motion made and seconded to issue positive determination under Chap. 131, S40 VOTED 5-0-0 Motion made and seconded to issue positive determination under Art. 32 VOTED 5-0-0 8:40 p.m. Continued Public Hearing - Notice of Intent - Paul F. Cassidy to construct a roadway; install catch basins, drains and utilities; perform associated grading, replace a drainage ditch with a 12" R.C. drain; implement mitigative measures and install other appurtenances off Oak St. at Acorn. At applicant's request, the Commission will continue the Public Hearing to April 13, 1988 at 8 p.m. Motion made and seconded to continue Public Hearing until 4/13/88 at 8 P.M. VOTED 6-0-0 8:45 p.m. CORRESPONDENCE continued - Motion was made and seconded to issue for 1 year an extension permit to Patrick Devaney under Art. 32. VOTED 6-0-0 Mr. Tom Natale, 25 Grey Coach Rd., spoke before Commission and would like 3 trees behind limit of work line removed. Mr. Goddard, landscaper, told Commission the white pine trees were unsafe and hazardous due to their proximity to the home. The Commission was individually polled to see if they were in favor of the tree cutting being considered an insignificant change. A plan will be submitted showing location of trees to be removed and Commission will act at next meeting. Commission went over letters Beth has written in recent weeks on Callan project. 9:05 p.m. Mr. Cochrane left meeting. Beth read letter she wrote to Selectmen at request of Town Manager. Beth would like to attend the Storm Water Management Conference. A motion was made and seconded to allow Beth to attend. VOTED 5-0-0 Beth gave an update on Homart preliminary plans. BILLS were approved. MINUTES of March 9, 1988 were approved with a correction under Public Meeting - Theiss E. Winkler - with addition of word "Winkler" before 'Meeting opened, recorded and closed'. Motion made and seconded that Minutes be approved as amended. VOTED 4-0-1 Beth introduced Ed Laski to Commission and told them he might be interested in becoming an Associate Member. 10:10 p.m. Motion made and seconded to close meeting.
