The tax rate, which was submitted for approval on 11/16/94, was approved on November 17, 1994 at the estimated $17.34 per thousand. As I stated before, this is the lowest increase in the tax rate since FY1989, 01/01/88. The bills are still targeted to be mailed on 12/16/94. Given this target date, the applications for abatement will be due no later than 5:00 PM 01/17/95 and the exemptions will be due no later than 5:00 PM 03/17/95. 2. All of the docketed appeals at the ATB have been settled; all FY1993 contentions. I have prepared copies of exerpts from Steve Gasperoni's appraisal of MacDonald's and Sonny's Touchless. Given the submission of Mr. Gasperoni's appraisals, I have processed his bill for payment, $7,000.00; 3,500.00 each appraisal. 3. All of the FY1995 forms for abatement and exemptions have been ordered and received. I have also updated for FY1995 the application for abat- ment cover page and addendum. These two pages where editted last year and where printed using that format. 4. Sales Verification Questionnaires, which remained as they were last year, have been printed and will be mailed by the end of the week. They are being sent to all of the sales that occurred between 01/01/94 and 09/30/94. As soon as we get the deeds in for the remainder of the year, we will mail the balance. Given the registry of deed's pace we can anticipate having these completely mailed by 01/30/95. 5. The Reading Housing Authority has sent invitations to each Board member inviting you to attend their open house 12/03/94 at 503 Summer Ave. between 10:00 and 11:30 AM. I can reserve attendance for anyone interested on 11/30/94. 6.
