APPOINTMENTS
6:00 P.M. - THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS MET WITH JIM MCCATHERN FROM PATRIOT
PROPERTIES.
6:45 P.M. - THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS MET WITH ROM MOTA OF M.M.C.
CHAIRMAN, NUGENT HAS PREPARED A MEMO COVERING THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS'
RECOMMENDATION FOR C. & I. PROPERTY REVALUATION FOR FY1993.-OLD BUSINESS
1. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING - JUNE 22, 1992.
APPROVED. 3-0-0.
2. ASSISTANT APPRAISER'.S REPORT.
THE OFFICE HAS RECEIVED MANY CALLS ON PERSONAL PROPERTY. FINAL
INSPECTIONS FOR NEW GROWTH ESTIMATES HAVE BEEN MADE.
3. DISCUSS CALENDAR FOR SETTING THE TAX RATE FOR FY193.
ON SCHEDULE. THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS SHOULD PREPARE A BUDGET
FOR RESIDENTIAL HEARINGS.
4. REVIEW APPLICATIONS FOR POSISTION OF APPRAISER.
NEXT WEEK THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS WILL DETERMINE WHO TO INVITE FOR
INTERVIEWS.

RE: REVALUATION OF COMMERCIAL & INDUSTRIAL PROPERTIES
At its meeting on Wednesday, July 1; 1992, the Board voted to recommend
that Patriot Properties be hired t6 do the FY193 revaluation of commercial
and industrial properties. The voting.indicated that M.M.C. of Chelmsford
would also be an acceptable choice, but second to Patriot Properties.
David Nugent, Chairman, will be in touch with you on Monday morning
July 6, 1992 to discuss this further.
