1. The total applications for abatement for FY1993, timely filed, is
110. To date, there are approximately 42 that have been reviewed
and signed by the Board; which.represents approximately 38%. There
were 3 Carnation Circle Condos, 7 Personal Property Accounts, 17
Commercials, with the balance being residential.
2. There have been approximately 425 exemption applications filed to
date;, 50% of,,the tota1.700 that are expected, to be filed for FY93.
3. The first 5aster.n Mass,CAMA Users Group meeting has been scheduled'
for 02/17/93 at The Reading Town Wall, 9:30 to 1:00P.M.. There
has been appro.ximatel.y l$°6ommunities invited. The agenda consists
primarily of an exhibiQe.xp'la.in•ation of the latest enhancements
made to the CAMA Software. .y
4. The collection of the exempts is continuing, with an approximate 90%
of them recollected. There is still data entry that is,necessary on
some of the more recently listed properties; though the initial
time-frame of an early March completion i•% still being adhered to.

5. FY94 Form of Lists were. sent to Reading Taxpayers last week. The
recipients were last years list plus new Businesses since ,01 /01/92,
excluding those not still in business. We are compiling the lists
j that were returned as undeliverable to verify ex,istance, etc., for
I FY94.
