The total applications for abatement for FY1993, timely filed, is 110. To date, there are 110 that have been reviewed and signed by the Board. The total amount abated to date is $23,522.98. 2. There have been a total of 515 exemption applications filed for FY1993. The total exempted is $136,333.25. The deadline for filing lapsed on 03/18/93. Another mailing was sent as a reminder to file to some 50, FY1992 exemption recipients on 04./06/93. The number of deferrals filed is 27,'totaling. $54,929.58. Mailers were sent to 2 of the FY1992 tax deferring taxpayers. Any applications for an exemption has to be denied from this point on.'' The state forms for -the reimbursement of these exemptions to the town is being mailed to the state 04/27/93. 3. The FY19,93 Overlay Account is $377,663.54. To date, the sum total of the exemp°tions and abatements is $159,856.23.(as an estimate) This leaves an~effective overlay balance of $217,807.31 (estimate) The free cash account, which is charged for the Deferrals, is to date effectively charged with $54,929.58. 4.*The inspections on the FY1994 permits started 04/,12/93. There are approximately 500 permits that will be, viewed for FYI-9940 this is a composite of new permits for 1992 and those that remained incomplete as of June 30, 1992. For the 1992 permits, we are in the process of creating a building permit file in CAMA for easy access of the information and an aid in calculating/verifying new growth. To date, there have been approximately 104 permits completed, comprised of 40 new douses for FY1994 and 64 houses picked up as complete for FY1994. 5. Income and Expense Statements are in the process of being drafted. I am formatting a questionnaire t.o be sent out using smart; it would be to expensive to have a form printed.
