1. The inspection of FY1994 permits started 04/12/93. There are
approximately 600 permits that will be viewed for FY1994, this is
a composite of new permits for 1992 and those that remained
incomplete as of June 30, 1992. For the 1992 permits, we are in
the process of creating a'building permit file in CAMA for
easy access of the information and an aid in calculating/verifying
new growth. This file has been completed. To date, there have been
approximately 531 permits that have been inspected; there are
approximately 50 left; which are mostly prior years permits not
listed as 100% complete. Julie and I will be viewing the commercial
industrial permits on 05/25/93.
2. The legal changes are in'the process of being done for- the estimated
bills going out mid-June. All new owners have _b'een recognized. Lot
splits and subdivisions are near complete. The bigger, ,parcels of
new growth will be the Reading Schoolhouse Condominium, 37 units of
condominiums, and Roma Lane, 12 new lots.
3. For the estimated bills, in respo.nse_ to Peter Heckenbleikner's
request, we will-be issuing a bill for The Reading Gymnastics
Association and The Church of The Good Shepherd. Given the.re-
collection of all the 3ABC exempts in Reading, these were the
two that were found to be taxable. The Reading Gymnastics
Association is in the process of filling out an income and expense
statement for their business. The Church of the Good Shepherd
rents a two-family house to non-church' tenants. They will be
asked to fill out an income and expense statement also. Should
we get no response, sales can be used to determine a value.
4. There will be a second meeting of the Northeast CAMA Users Group
on 05/26/93. Issues presented will be property record cards,
IQ one liners, and routine system administration tasks.
5. Attached is an Assessors Office FY1994 Shedule which is in the
process of being refined by all affected offices. As can be seen,
we have already completed some of the specified tasks. As it
standv, this schedule is the one that we will be adhering to given
any revisions the Board may have..
