1. he Tax Classification Task Force has been formed. The Chairman
,f the force is Stephen Cool, Reading Taxpayer Alliance President.
r,!ther Classification Task Force members include Bill Burditt,
lick Coco, Bill Goodrich, and David Hurley. The last meeting is
scheduled for September 27th, where a consolidation of information
all be done for the purposes of an initial draft of a recom--
>ndation.
2. he Classification Hearing is tentatively scheduled for November, 2,
X993. The initial October 21st date was believed an inadeguate
,mount of time for The Board of Assessors to review the Force's
ecommendations. This date would
give the Board of Assessors more
ime to adequately prepare for the hearing.
3. Julie's reinspection efforts for the past two weeks, 08/30/93 to
?9/10/93 have yielded 1.32 full inspections and 37 exterior measures,
total of 169 for the last two weeks. Currently, this brings the
ot.al recollected on the cyclical program up.to 3,954.
4. 1.ondominuim values are almost all initially ready. Complexes that
re ready to review are Summit Towers, Charles Street, Washington St,
'summit Terrace and Carnation Circle.
