5. There will be the third Eastern CAMA Users Group meeting on Sep-
tember 28th. So far, the response has been very encouraging and
attendance should be good. We will be viewing the latest version
of I.Q., tracking abatements and exemptions through a database and
different uses communities have found for the building permit file.
6. A letter has been drafted for a legal opinion on the Apse property.
As you recall, the Apses where erroneously recognized as the legal
owner of a lot of land that abutted a parcel that was purchased by
them on 08/29/86. In 1992, when the lot was transferred by the
legal owners, the Apses believed the town liable to them for the
taxes they had paid on the lot; a sum total of $370.72
7. The Banker and Tradesman Publication is looking for some specific
information. The Board should vote if it is willing to have me
provide it to them.
