3. APPLICATIONS FOR ASSISTANT APPRAISER'S POSITION.
SET UP 2 NIGHTS IN SAME WEEK FOR INTERVIEWS.
MON. AND TUES. JAN. 3 AND 4. EVERY HALF HOUR
BETWEEN 6:30 P.M. AND9:30 P.M. WE HAVE 14
APPLICANTS TO INTERVIEW. ALSO NEED INTERVIEW
SHEETS.
NEW BUSINESS
1. HAVE PEG PLANSKY FROM THE READING HOUSING AUTHORITY
SEND TO THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS A COPY OF THE'P.I.L.O.T.
AGREEMENT SO THAT EACH BOARD MEMBER CAN REVIEW THE
AGREEMENT. ALSO ONCE THE PAPERS ARE PASSED THE HOUSING
AUTHORITY SHOULD CONTACT THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS SO THAT
THEY CAN COME TO A MEETING TO DISCUSS THE P.I.L.O.T.

REF: APPRAISER'S REPORT
1. To date, there are 7 applications for abatement that have been
filed. Review of those can begin on the next meeting.
2. There have been no new application submissions for the position of.
Assistant Appraiser, we are resting at the original 66. I have
gotten a few calls relative to when we would be interviewing,
etc. I have given a copy of the first cut of applicants to Beth
for her input. She will be available to interview any day after
the first except the 5th.
3. Peter Hechenbleikn.er has 'requested the Board of Assessors to render
an opinion of value for the Bear Hill site, see attached memo. It"
would be good if we could expedite this for the next meeting.
a. The Reading Housing Authority, Peg Plansky, has sent a letter request-
ing an abatement for property the Housing Authority is going to aquire.
As with the exemption that was granted for The Reading Schoolhouse
Condos, as soon as we receive a deed showing the transfer, we can
have all of the preliminary work done ready for signing. See
attached memo.
