1. Viewing Plafform at Bare Meadow
a. Meet on Monday 6/22/09 at 6:30 p.m. to assess work needed
to complete the benches.
b. DPW will be asked to finish the end of ramp by adding
aggregate material so it blends with the trail.

Joan will register at 9:00 a.m. and set up
Susan has a table and chairs
Alan will bring an awning/tent and set it up
Fran will provide Adopt-a-Trail handouts
Kim will provide maps, handouts, field guides
Joan will bring the "Fox" and field guides
3. Mattera Cabin Site
a. Fran discussed the construction debris left at the cabin that
should be cleaned up. It was decided that the Scout should
be contacted by the Conservation Committee to find out
about the completion and clean up as part of the initial
project.
b. The donation of benches for the accessible trail was
discussed. Kim will follow up on concrete for the project.
Possibly DPW will be involved in this project when enough
funds are raised and the benches have been purchased.
4. Bare Meadow
a. Recreational Trails Program Grant - Amount requested:
$18,139. Amount awarded: $16,539. Funds are to be used
towards Bare Meadow Trail Enhancements.
b. Discussed using funds to plan and design boardwalks to
stabilize and enhance areas of the trail which may include
the hiring of the appropriate people needed for the project.
c. Site Visit Planned: Sunday June 28, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Meet at
the entrance to Bare Meadow at the Pearl Street parking lot.
Fran will request Conservation Commission members attend.
Trail Committee members are requested to attend.
