Police turned over suspect to Athletic Director who reportedly stated "we'll take care of it". Gary will report our concern to Pat Schettini • School Report - Gary reported on two presentations of Project Alliance ("Internet Safety" and "Drugs and Alcohol: Perilous Choices, Dangerous Consequences") Discussion included: cost (joining vs. paying for presentations, grant money), getting reasonable attendance, audience (middle school, parents, teachers), dates and location. The consensus was to hold the presentations in March, request the presentations in conjunction with PTO meetings, hold presentations at Parker and Coolidge, hold "Internet Safety" first and "Drugs and Alcohol" would replace previously considered "Heroin" meeting. Also discussed was another program suggested by Gary - "Dear Lisa" on aggressive relationships. It will be again considered next fall. Karyn arrived and conducted the remainder of the meeting GOALS - Discussion • Heroin program is a backup for Project Alliance presentations • Look into Project Alliance presentations first • Need catchy title to attract people to program Consensus for title: Illegal Drugs in Reading - Part 2. Could be held March 25th NEW BUSINESS - there was no new business ADJOURNED - 9:05 PM Respectfully submitted, Bob Brown
