MINUTES OF MEETING April 14, 2005
CALL TO ORDER - 7:05 PM
MEMBERS PRESENT - Karyn Storti, Bob Brown, Bill Carrick, Matt Edson, Lisa
DiTrapano, Mark Stanuil, Jane Fiore (Staff Liaison)
MEMBERS EXCUSED - Gary Nihan, Carl McFadden
MEMBERS ABSENT - Corey Porter
MINUTES Minutes for March approved as corrected;
Minutes for Dec. and Feb. approved
INTRODUCTIONS - Two new RMHS student members, Juniors Kayla Wheaton and
Joseph St.John, introduced.
PUBLIC INPUT - None
OLD BUSINESS - Report by Karyn on Parker PTO meeting.
Karyn will atempt to get copy of video
- Discussion of Dr. Kishore as possible speaker - no decision
Police report - Matt Edson reported four arrests which may have been drug
Police need training in recognition of drug use related
- School report - Some smoking in girls bathrooms
Junior Prom - OK
- Discussion of sale of liquor at Atlantic and permission of Selectmen for greater
display than originally requested. Motion made and passed to send letter to
A.Rubin and to Selectmen. More attention will be given to Selectmen awarding
of liquor licenses.
- Discussion of Belmont school dance incident, response and subsequent
newspaper reporting of action taken.
- Discussion of Friends and Family Day - Jane has suitable display board, Bob has
table, Lisa, Bob and Karyn available for staffing table
