The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. Minutes: approved from March. 2. Ted reported on Household Hazardous" Waste collection. Business that day was `booming". On an exciting note, cyanide and some green powder was dropped off. There was 168 TV's and montt6rs dropped off as well. These were a total of 468 vehicles. 315 were from Reading; 1 53 were from Wakefield. Two. police officers were needed that day. It went well. The TV's and monitors are alr iAdy picked up. The batteries are gone also. They were mostly car batteries.' 3. Two members of committee are up for re-appointment, Lois and Susan. 4. Greg spoke about the need to reach new members oriust re-recruit old/past members. 5. School recycling - Lois will probably address this next year. She will focus on years Kindergarten through second grade. Dave contacted John Thiffault. Dave was not getting much feedback. 6. Family and Friends Day - June 25. We will have a table all day. Susan will set- up. A free compost bin will again be raffled. 7. Performance Evaluation on Ted - It was completed by Dave and all agreed Ted's performance pertaining to our committee is excellent. 8. We watched an exciting video on recycling. Dave will bring video to RCTV to work with them to get it on air so it reflects needs of Reading. 9. Adjourned at 9:02 p.m. 30. F >
