Pacino, Soli and Ms. O'Neill RMLD Staff: Messrs. Cameron and Seldon Mses. O'Leary and Parenteau CAB: Messrs. Lessard, Carakatsane, Vale and Herlihy Chairman Pacino called the meeting to order at 7:36 p.m. Mr. Cameron said that there will be a Power Supply update in Executive Session in order for the Citizens' Advisory Board to get the latest information on RMLD's power supply strategy. A motion needs to be made by both the RMLD Board of Commissioners and the Citizens' Advisory Board in order to proceed with the RMLD's power supply strategy. Executive Session At 7:36 p.m. Mr. Soli made a motion seconded by Ms. O'Neill that the Board go into Executive Session, based on Chapter 164 Section 47D exemption from public records and open meeting requirements in certain instances, and return to Regular Session to discuss power supply and for adjournment. Motion carried 3:0:0. Chairman Pacino called for a poll of the Board: Ms. O'Neill, Aye; Mr. Pacino, Aye; and Mr. Soli, Aye. Motion carried 3:0:0. Regular Session continued after Executive Session adjourned at 8:06 p.m. Power Supply Update Mr. Soli said that there was extensive discussion on RMLD's strategic power supply plan in the Executive Session. The Board voted on the same motion in Executive Session based on the recommendation of the Citizens' Advisory Board and is bringing it to Regular Session, Mr. Soli made a motion seconded by Ms. ONeill that the Reading Municipal Light Department Board of Commissioners (RMLB) authorizes the Reading Municipal Light Department's (RMLD) General Manager to finalize the negotiations and execute one or more Power Sales Agreements in accordance with the RMLD's Strategic Power Supply Plan presented to the RMLB on January 17, 2007 and the General Manager will inform the RMLB of the timing of the RFP and the parameters used to determine the timing of the RFP and the General Manager will notify the RMLB of the successful bidder(s) to the RFP. Motion carried 3:0:0. Motion to Adjourn At 8:08 p.m. Mr. Soli made a motion seconded by Ms. O'Neill to adjourn the Regular Session. Motion carried 3:0:0. A true copy of the RMLD Board of Commissioners minutes as approved by a majority of the Commission.
