Cameron and Seldon Mr. Hahn called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Hahn asked Mr. Seldon to provide an update on the Green Choice Program. Mr. Seldon said that the RMLD has 2,609 residential customers on the program. Mr. Seldon also discussed the cost of the Renewable Energy Certificates the RMLD has purchased since September, 2006. Discussion followed. Mr. Cameron was then asked to update the Committee on the RMLD's Energy Efficiency program for the fiscal year 2009. The RMLD continues to be active in the energy conservation area and has dispersed $11,175 in Energy Star appliance rebates to 242 residential customers for the October through December, 2008 timeframe. Since July, 2008 the RMLD has dispersed $30,500 Energy Star appliance rebates to 659 residential customers. The RMLD budgeted $60,000 for the Appliance Rebate program in FY 2009. The RMLD has also, through the effort of an energy audit contractor, performed 45 energy audits for residential customers, which cost the RMLD $6,160. Since July, 2008 the RMLD has had 71 audits performed for residential customers at a cost of $9,760. The RMLD has budgeted $53,603 for energy audits in FY 2009. Since July, 2008 the RMLD has given out $56,347 in Commercial Lighting retrofit rebates for commercial lighting savings, which produced 276 kW and annual energy savings of 1,407,941 kWh. The RMLD has not performed any Commercial Energy Audits over the last three months. The RMLD is continuing to determine what commercial and industrial customers may be interested in joining the Optional Load Response Program. The RMLD is in contact with an individual, which is interested in taking the Energy Efficiency Manager position. Mr. Hahn then suggested that the Committee take up the opinion of the Melanson Heath on the RMLD's treatment of the PASNY Credit. Discussion ensued. Ms. O'Neill made a motion second by Commissioner Hahn to recommend the RMLD Board accept the Agreed Upon Procedures of the Calculation and Recording of the PASNY Credits Dated January 20, 2009.
