HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-07-12 Community Relations Subcommittee MinutesMinutes of Community Relations Subcommittee Meeting RMLD Board of Commissioners Date: July 12, 2005 -2 3: Time: 8:30 a.m. Place: General Manager's Conference Room Attendees: RMLD Board Chairman Andrew Herlihy, RMLD Board Secretary Ellen Kearns Community Relations Manager Priscilla Gottwald Community Relations Assistant Bobbi Maillett General Manager Vinnie Cameron Human Resources Manager Beth Ellen Antonio The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Customer Survey. Ms. Gottwald passed out the Survey questions designed by the MEAM Subcommittee and the survey company, Center for Research and Public Policy (CRPP). A lengthy discussion ensued regarding the survey, how long the survey would take, what type of questions would be asked (only ask questions that are valid). The Commissioners and General Manager felt there should be a cause and effect for each question with the questions relating to: 1. how our customers feel about us; 2. what do our customers want from us; 3. how our customers feel about green power. It was decided that CRPP representatives will meet with the Community Relations Subcommittee to answer questions. Chairman Herlihy and Secretary Kearns suggested an incentive compensation for those willing to participate in the survey. Mr. Cameron said he would look into the logistics. Secretary Kearns prepared a timeline for the survey. Ideally, the questions would be ready by the end of August, CRPP representatives would visit RMLD in late September or early October and the survey results would be available by November. Everyone agreed that the survey should take no more than ten or fifteen minutes. A follow up Community Relations Subcommittee meeting will take place in August with CRPP.
