Start Time: 6:45 p.m. Ended Time: 7:25 p.m. 2011q VIAN' P 1= Ob Attendees: Subcommittee Members: Messrs. Hahn and Soli Staff: Mr. Cameron General business of the General Manager Subcommittee. Mr. Hahn called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. Mr. Hahn opened the meeting by explaining that the General Manager is evaluated amiually, there is a form with Performance Items that the General Manager has to meet. At the end of the year, the General Manager Subcommittee meets with the General Manager to discuss the performance items and recommend a salary increase to the RMLD Board. Ms. Kearns mentioned that the coming year's General Manager evaluation should include an individual evaluation of the General Manager by each RMLD Commissioner. Discussion ensued. Mr. Hahn said that the General Manager's Subcommittee will meet prior to the next RMLD Board meeting to give the RMLD Board a chance to discuss the General Manager's Performance Items for the upcoming year. Discussion ensued as to the items in the evaluation and what the General Manager had completed. Mr. Cameron said that he did not meet Performance Items 25 through 27, which were related to the Cost of Service Study and Item 65 that was the primary voltage on the GIS database. Missing the delivery of these Performance Items resulted in a score of 94.03%. Mr. Soli said that the General Manager's annual salary increase is comprised of the Consumer Price Index for the Brockton-Boston-Nashua area, in addition to the Performance Items percentage scale. The Consumer Price Index increased 3.4% from November 2006 through November 2007 and the percentage scale component was 1.4% based on a rating of 94.03%, which results in an overall annual raise of 4.8%. Mr. Soli pointed out that the General Manager's salary calculation has an annual salary increase cap of 4%. Mr. Hahn made a motion that the General Manager's salary be increased 4% for the period February 7, 2008 through February 6, 2009. Mr. Soli seconded the motion. Motion carried 2:0:0. Motion to Adjourn At 7:25 p.m. Mr. Soli made a motion seconded by Mr. Hahn to adjourn the meeting. Chair Hahn called for a poll of the Subcommittee: Mr. Hahn, Aye; and Mr. Soli, Aye.
