TOWN OF READING
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
The data has confirmed that Reading has a pronounced need for young family and elderly
housing of all types.
GK commented:
What went into the analysis in the way of techniques and regional context?
Transportation links could be developed, e.g. subway out to Wakefield.
A traffic analysis is needed to establish where the traffic is moving from the north
and south parts of Town.
How is everything interrelated?
The forum should cover a variety of housing types.
The effect of limited natural resources, e.g. water supply, should be factored in.
Scheduling:
Dates were identified for the Housing Forum: 1.12, 1.14,1.15, 1.26
Possible conflicts and attendees were discussed.
Where: Senior Center
The meeting adjourned at 8:45 PM.
