Phil Maher asked if it wasn't a problem that parents of home schooling, private or parochial schools may be discriminated against by not receiving any financial help from the town to educate their children. Also discussion took place as to whether it is OK to make amends to an oppressed group such as women or racial minorities at the expense of white males. 6. The town election coming up was discussed and although of course no position endorsements could be made the committee encouraged the process of being informed and following interviews with the school committee and watching items on RCTV. 7.
