1. Called to order 7:30
2. Treasurer's Report: Balance general fund $ 1,173.83
Special revenue $1,974.12
3. Web site group will meet with Tim Biller will meet in the next few weeks.
4. Work commenced on the refiguring of Lowell St. It appears that less land was
taken from the Common than was expected.
5. We received a letter from the Stoneham Historical Commission thanking us for
our guidance and support in the saving of a Greek revival home.
6. Virginia suggested we buy the new book old home Caring for y_QUr Historic
House. The cost is $40. Clay will check with library to see if they will buy it.
7. State Preservation Day at the state house on Dec. 8. They want commissions
to bring documentation of undeveloped land at risk. Clay suggests we give this task
over to the Town Planner as its work to the conservation commission. Suggestion:
Longwood Poultry Farm, Marion Woods.
8. Senior Center Roof: New slate has been recommended.
9. Sharlene will visit the Registry of Deeds to get copies of the deed restrictions on
the Foster-Emerson House.
10. Preservation Award: Virginia passed out the criteria.
11. Antiques Appraisal to be scheduled for the spring.
12. Mark says the scanner is ordered.
13. Mill St. (Marion's Wood): the commission needs to suggest plans for the use of
the property.
14. The Reading Chronicle wants 10 separate issues from each decade.
15. Roberta wants to know if the commission wants to support the reprinting of At
Wood End. There are no copies left for sale. Roberta will investigate what the
procedure will be and if the plates are still in existence. Issues: sale history, cost,
storage, availability of the plates.
