approved. Storage will be at the Wakefield Daily Item. Roberta wants a contract to
insure the books against any form of loss. After much discussion the commission felt
we could ask businesses to stock them and provide a case price for realtors.
7. 25 Auburn St.: David Barrett has a P & S on the house. The commission feels
we should ask for the status of the property from either Fontes (the owner) or the
Building Inspector. Roberta will write a note to Redman, the building inspector, to
keep us updated on the house.
8. Addison-Wesley: Clay, and Roberta, and Virginia visited the site on Friday,
March, 31. We will be getting plans of building "A". Clay submitted the commission's
response to MEPA on the redevelopment proposal. The zoning change will be voted
on at the Town Meeting in May. Clay feels we should try to use the delay bylaw to
convince the town to urge the new owners to keep building "A" or to build respecting
the architectural heritage. This would require putting the building on the inventory.
Building "A" was designed by Richard D. Kimball, Engineers. The firm is still in
business. Virginia moved that the Commission vote at its may meeting whether the
1956 portion of Building "A" at Addison-Wesley property on Jacob Way to determine if
it is architecturally or historically significance. Notices will go to the Building inspector
and the owner to allow a 30 day notice. approved 4-0-0. Meeting will be scheduled
