The commission has met today in order to review a demolition request for a ortion of
the property at 320 Haverhill St. The property is confirmed as being on the inventory
and the National Register of Historic Properties. The commission is confident that the
property is now owned by the Visiting Nurse Association with the intent to turn the
house into a hospice.
Clay made a motion that an initial determination that the property at 320 Haverhill St.
is historically inventoried.
Discussion: The garage is coming down which is integrated into the historic structure
and a small part of that structure will need to come down with it. The concern is: how
much of the early house is coming down and what will be there in its place? The
garage is not on the inventory.
Affirmative vote was 5-0-0
The public hearing was set for Thursday evening Jan. 23 at 7:30 to vote on the the

variance.

scheduled for Thursday Jan. 9 at 7:30.
