Meeting called to order at 7:40 pm in the Town Hall Conference Room

• Virginia notified the Commission that deed restrictions for 483 Franklin St haze be
approved by counsel, but have not yet been signed by the owners.
• Carriage House bylaw workshop to be held January 10, 2005 at 7pm. The Commission is
petitioning the town to pass a carriage house/barn/stable bylaw at this spring's Town
Meeting. This revised bylaw has been rewritten to strengthen its preservation aspects and
include input from CPDC. Roberta handed out a packet including the proposed bylaw along
with an updated list of possible properties that could be impacted by such a bylaw. Wilbur
questioned how this would impact owner who wants to use the building for some other use
(i/e personal or recreational). Sharlene motioned to accept this proposed Carriage
house/barn/stable zoning bylaw dated 1-10-2005. Wilbur seconded the motioned Vote 4-0-0.
• Virginia was interviewed by Arts & Entertainment for an upcoming City Confidential
episode to air next April. The interview was regarding the hockey rink murder in Reading a
few years back.
• A legal notice has been posted for the Harnden/Pleasant Street's Public Meeting for January
18th at 7:30 in the Town Hall Conference room. The demolished delay checklist was
reviewed for this property. Roberta and Sharlene will finalized and prepare the agenda. The
Commission will request a tour of the building for documentation.
