Planninq session for Conservation Commission hearing on 420 Franklin Street:
The Conservation Commission seems willing to work with The Commission. The Commission is allotted 30 minutes
on June 14, 2006. Virginia will make an introduction. Kathy Greenfield will read the letter into the record. Clay will
make a presentation mainly about defending the public good, including a PowerPoint slide show. Doug Green, from
the Conservation Commission, sat in on the meeting for a short time. The Commission reviewed the presentation and
some changes were made.
The Conservation Commission will probably require a bond for the work.
The Commission discussed restrictions on the deed of the house because of the public interest in saving the house.
Some restrictions could include the frame of the house, roof boards, siding, interior treatments, and location and
setting. The restrictions will be brought up at the hearing. However, the specifics of the restrictions will be agreed
upon by the owner and The Commission. The Commission discussed how additions to the house would affect the
coverage of the aquifer district. The Commission reviewed Fran Fink's write up on the variance request and
