He told of the existing 2 story building that is in very bad shape and asked about the "Voicing Room" and its significance. The main building is ok, but current the second floor is holding more weight than it was designed for. Another design challenge is dealing with run off water. The town insists that the water be kept on site. The developer would like to the replace the back building with a covered parking structure. The configuration may change. Steve asked if it would be possible to view the property on the 29'x' of September about 3:15 pm. Kathy agreed to finalize the visit. We offered to assist with what we can to keep the front building. + Minutes: o Reviewed minutes from 1/6/2006 meeting. A comment recently received from Brad Latham indicated that they are still interested in preservation restrictions that will be signed. They asked that the restrictions be between the RHC and the developer not Shirley Day. The plot plan in question was filed last summer. Roberta questioned what the next step was with CPDC and who should take that step. We spoke about Preservation Restriction Agreement comments from Brad Latham currently with town counsel. Mark questioned the casualty clause. • 30-32 Elliot St - The 6 months on the Demolition Delay is nearly over. Virginia spoke to Kathy about asking the owner to move it to 75 Pleasant St, but after discussion there did not seem to be any advantage to anyone but the RHC. Time limit nearly over. Mark asked about the chance to document the property Roberta will make contact. She'll also ask about the $500.00 donation previously offered. + 75 Pleasant St - Reading Housing Authority is still up in the air about the plan for this property. No plans have been finalized. Virginia may still try to find a suitable alternate property for the house.
