July 21, 2005
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM in the Arnold Berger Conference Room,
Town Hall, 16 Lowell Street, Reading M<A.
Present were: Task Force members Selectman Ben Tafoya, Dr. Donald Green, Kathy
Golini, Pat Iapicca representing the Insurance Advisory Committee. Also present were
HR Administrator Carol Roberts, Town Manager Peter Hechenbleikner, IAC members
Arthur Vars and Darlene Porter.
On motion by Iapicca, seconded by Green, Ben Tafoya was elected Chair on a vote
of 4-0-0.
The Town Manager and HR Administrator Carol Roberts reviewed the material supplied
to the Task Force, which included:

pays, changes in prescription drugs, etc for the past 5 years

Information on number of people who are eligible for benefits but don't take the
benefit from the Town
At the next meeting we will look at the available material provided, and focus on the
RFP.
Meetings will start at 7 PM on the following dates:

♦ August 11
♦ August 25
♦ September 1.
On motion by Iapicca, seconded by Green, the Task Force adjourned at 9:25 by a vote of
4-0-0/
