Finance Committee Appointment Committee Meeting a

The meeting convened in the Town Hall Conference Room, 16 Lowell Street, Reading,
Massachusetts. Present were Moderator Alan Foulds, Finance Committee Chairman
Catherine Martin, Board of Selectmen Chairman Camille Anthony, Town Manager Peter
Hechenbleikner and candidate Harold Torman.
Moderator Alan Foulds opened the meeting and introduced the candidate, Harold
Torman. Finance Committee Chairman Catherine Martin explained the working of the
Finance Committee and the schedule.
Alan Foulds and Camille Anthony asked questions of the candidate.
On motion by Anthony seconded by Martin, the name of Harold Torman was
placed into nomination for a position on the Finance Committee expiring June 30,
2004. Mr. Torman received three votes and was appointed.
On motion by Anthonv seconded by Martin, the Finance Committee Appointment
Committee voted to adjourn their meeting of February.4, 2003 at 7:20 p.m. by a
vote of 3-0-0.
