Agenda Review
• Reports
Alleyway Improvement Project
o The sub-committee consisting of Michele Williams, Meghan Young-Tafoya, and Sheila Clarke met with
Carol Kowalski, George Zamboras, Elliot Gould, and Tom and Barbara O'Connor on 3/19. The meeting
was very positive and the committee has the further research to do regarding lighting style, mural cost,
and the archway options. We also need to confirm timing for the pavers to be installed along with the
Main Street Improvement project. (Draft Presentation attached)
Farm Stand
o Michelle Ferullo spoke with our existing vendor and she will expand her selection of baked goods.
Michelle also spoke with the Health Inspector and having a cheese selection will not be a problem as long
as it is kept at 40 degrees.
Property Status Report
o Carol Kowalski gave an update on the draft list. Sheila Clarke will work with Carol to have a standard
template filled in completely, included with the agenda, and reviewed at each meeting.
• Work plan Review
o Meghan Young-Tafoya revised the existing work plan draft and organized it into four major header topics.
She then took each of the committee's priorities and placed them within each topic. The committee
reviewed and agreed that the format was very organized and helpful. The committee is to review the
work plan outline (referred to as the EDC Open Items and Status) and come prepared to the next meeting
with specific tasks to assign to the priorities. (EDC Open Items and Status Attached)
• Other Business
o Russell Graham spoke with the EDC Liaison, James Bonazoli, regarding meeting with the EDC once the
work plan is finalized.
Meeting Schedule
o Next scheduled meeting will be on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at the Berger Room, Town Hall, Reading,
Massachusetts beginning at 7:30 P.M.
On a motion by Russell, seconded by Young-Tafoya, the committee voted to adjourn at 6:15 P.M. on a unanimous
vote.
Respectfully submitted,
Sheila Clarke
