Minutes of the June 14, 1989 meeting were approved as ammended. (Leftover Pass Funds should read $84.50 not $84.00). Treasurer's report was approved as follows: Balance on hand July 26, 1989: $10,278.90 June 14, 1989 balance: 3994.15 July 1989 Grant receipt: 5776.00 July 1989 Pass receipt: 1 46.00 Totalling 11,116.15 Payments voted 6/89: 837.26 July balance: 10,278.90 Administrative balance: 1,453 90 Payments were approved as follows: Reading Symphony Orchestra 304.00 RMHS Don Quiote 90.00 R. Antiquarian Society framing 400.00 Killam School Berkley Performance Center 415.00 R. Thank you note from Netty Turner. 2. Museum of Fine Arts letter for group membership. 3. Letter from Karen Brown of the library and bill for $207.20 from Wilmington Office Supply, Inc. regarding our message board. OLD BUSINESS: Guide to the Arts in Readingbrochure being researched. The letter about our January meeting was brought up at the Selectmen's meeting when appointments were made. NEW BUSINESS': Poster will be made and distributed by August 1 1989 by Diane Slezak. Grant and Pass application forms were reviewed and approved. There will be a meeting on September 28, 1989 for anyone on a volunteer board. Possibility of saving Pearl Street School as a community/arts center considered. Concern over the elimination of chorus and instrumental music: from the elementary school and resignation of Jane McKenzie discussed. Reminder of Sunday concerts.
