The extra $1. wi(( be transferred to our administrative account}. Alice went over the MOO Local Cultural Council Summary Form - Fiscal Year 1999. We also toots a toots at the MCC Survey which showed as how we compare with other councils. Alice brought up the idea of fundraising to acquire more money for grants as some towns do. Should we sponsor a town performance or try more activities' There was also a question as to the frequency needed for meetings, especially: now that the funds are so small and we don't at( need to sign payment requests. (s there anything we can do to create more support for the council within the community? The survey outlined what goes on in other councils around the state and gave us many ideas for discussion. Alice distributed the new t993 calendar and pointed out that meetings wilt be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays this year to hopefully accomodate everyone's schedule. The bulletin board in the RPbibrary was once again discussed. Sally MacDonald suggested corking it and posting flyers. Bev made a point that it would be preferrable to see all information uniformly posted in the white letters that were made to be used with the board, David mentioned that the organizations were not supplying him with any information to post. Michael suggested that we post the upcoming events that we have funded in order to keep the board up to date and informative.
