The minutes from June 13th and Sept. 5th were read, edited and approved.

seconded it.
Ann Rotondo showed the council the forms she uses for the town that she fills out to be
reimbursed. She passed out copies of the form to the council.
The Margie Davis situation was followed up and resolved. She received $100 and the other $100
will be regranted because she is not doing the 2nd workshop before 12/31/01.
Ann Rotondo's 6 year term as Treasurer is up in June 2002.
The AARP has volunteers in the community to get someone to manage the treasurer's duties. The

the Career Place AARP Job Developer, Camille to see if there are any interested applicants.

Allison DaSilva suggested: Delay it until after January 2001 and. combine it with a 4th of July
celebration and address it again perhaps after Jan. 2001.
How to gather Nominations for the Cultural Recognition award:
At town gatherings, fairs
Dianna Lavancher had a meeting -with Allison DaSilva to discuss ideas, the RCC vision,. the

The opera form could be a town arts festival in Reading, a big summer party and Cultural
Recognition Award nominations could be obtained at this type of event. Maybe the RCC could
join in on a town event. The RCC should write a grant for themselves.
The next meeting is Oct. 24th. Grant booklets will be given to each council member at this
meeting.
Respectfully submitted,

Judith A. Junker
RCC Secretary
