GENERAL DISCUSSION
LW shared the following updates:
- Grant rejection notifications have been sent; grant approval notices are scheduled to go
out tomorrow (in accordance with the required waiting period)
- LW appeared before the Board of Selectmen to report on the status of RCC activities
- RCC meetings through April 1 have been posted at Town Hall.
- Advertisement for new council members was carried in Community Connection
- The town website now has the capability to host online surveys; so we may want to
consider using this medium for our community input survey; it was suggested that we
continue discussion of this item at the next meeting.
GOLD STAR PROJECT
It was discussed and agreed that Kathy Kelly would try to get some first hand feedback about the
Ruby Bridges performance to see if it would be appropriate to nominate it as a Gold Star project.
LIBRARY OPEN HOUSE
It was discussed and agreed that it would not be useful to participate in the Library Open House
this year (scheduled for March 1).
GRANT RECIPIENTS' RECEPTION
It was discussed and agreed that it would be worthwhile to host a grant recipients' reception again
this year. It was suggested that it be scheduled in conjunction with our April I meeting. LH
volunteered to coordinate. AH will inquire with Police Department on possibility of eating in the
community room. It was agreed that it shouldn't be scheduled at a time that conflicted with the
Selectmen's meeting.
The meeting adjourned at approximately 7:35
Respectfully submitted,
Vicky Schubert
