We talked about her background and experience, and she gave us a detailed re-cap of her most recent position as Director of Life Services (doing program development, needs survey, team building, etc.) Pamela would start on June 18t'', allowing two weeks or so of overlap with Russ Dean. After Pamela left, the Board endorsed her as the new Director. Peter mentioned that she would receive an evaluation in 6 months. • We also learned that the van driver has retired - a replacement, or replacements (as a job sharing position) is/are being sought. • The Selectmen will be interviewing candidates for COA on Tuesday, June 12`h. Both Betty and Gay have signed on again, and another individual, John O'Neil (not certain of spelling) has indicated an interest in serving. • The computer center is very nearly up and running - furniture from Addison Wesley is in and many of the computers installed. There was a suggestion that the computer center will be a good starting project for Pamela to work with the seniors, community folk, and the Board. • The Board will seek to meet in both July and August, given Pamela's arrival, in an effsirt to make her beginning time period effective and to give her whatever help we can. • At the July meeting we will elect new officers. • Meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m. Respmtfully submitted, a ay Wi~ams, Sec'y
