April 9, 2007 minutes accepted
Administrator's Report accepted
Financial Report accepted
Old Business
• It was voted upon and agreed unanimously that we would not provide music at the Elder
Services booth at Friends and Family Day in June.
• The booth coverage was determined.
• Betty will see that rocks for paperweights and water are provided.
• Dawn will gather supplies for the giveaway bags as well as a banner and candy.
New Business
• Volunteer Appreciation gifts were handed out to volunteers who could not go to the
Volunteer dinner.
• It was voted upon and agreed unanimously that the Council would not meet in July and
August.
• Reappointment letters were handed out and will be acted on if they have not already done
so.
• Sally Hoyt, chairman of the Silver Legislature noted that the new State program - Choice
- will be shown on RCTV on Thursday, May 17 at 6 p.m.
• New name for the Division was discussed and Marguerite suggested: "Intergenerational
Community Services". Dawn has been given suggestions, to be discussed at a later date.
Motion to adjourn 7:05.
Next month's meeting will be held on Monday, Junel 1, 2007
