The Chairman opened the hearing. Peter Tassi, Water Superintendent, was present along
with Dwight Dunk and Isabel Simoes from CDM. Ms. Simoes reported that additional
survey work had been done, a meeting had been held with the Town Engineer, and the
wildlife survey had identified venial pool species present in the proposed work area,
including blue-spotted salamanders. CDM will meet with NHESP soon to review the
wildlife findings and applicable regulations.
The Commission discussed, and NHESP authority. Mr. Tassi would like the Commission
to issue an Order of Conditions at their next meeting to support the grant and bid timing
requirements. The Commission had questions about the NHESP implications, wetlands
