The general feeling was that more information was need on housing options not only to
meet the requirements of the act but to meet the requirements of 40 B -
The cost factor of operating fields at the present water treatment plant that could be
developed with CPA funds was questioned, Bill Brown will ask Bob Keating for an
estimate .
The committee felt that it would be helpful to have the Town Planner and the Director of
the Housing Authority present at the next meeting .
Clay Jones pointed out that in Brookline that CPA funds where being used to help people
to purchase homes with the understanding that there would be deed restrictions so that the
units would remain affordable forever The committee also felt that CPA funds could be
used to help upgrade illegal accessory apartments to help meet the 40 b goal .
The meeting adjourned at 8"30 PM next meeting July 12, 2007 at 7:00 PM 1"
