Review of Past Meeting Minutes
The Minutes of January 9, 2001 were review and were accepted on a motion by Daniel Driscoll and
seconded by Janet Baronian.
General Business
Because of the new contract, Saturday and Holiday prices will be increased July 1, 2001. Increased
fuel costs will require an increase in grave box prices from $200.00 to $225.00. All the prices are on
the Reading's web page.
The Board acknowledged donations from Carl McFadden for veterans markers and a gift from the
estate of John Lewis to the Laurel Hill perpetual care fund.
The Board did not feel it could use the employee performance, instead the Chairman will compose a
letter to Mr. McIntire. The Board still feels Bob Keating should be put into a higher grade; this would
allow for more than just the cost of living adjustments.
The Board toured all four cemeteries, Bob Keating stressed that the amount of storm damage and the
amount of interments has hindered the crew, but, as usual, the cemeteries look great.
Bob was aptly assisted by Janet Baronian as chauffeur with the Boards thanks.
Receipts
Receipts are ahead of predictions.
