HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-09-04 Board of Cemetery Trustees MinutesTown of Reading Board of Cemetery Trustees Tuesday, September 4, 2001 Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of September 4, 2001 convened at 6:00 P.M. in the Berger Room, 16 Lowell Street, Reading Town Hall. Present: Mary Vincent, Chairman Daniel Driscoll, Vice Chairma n William Brown, Secretary Roc O'Connell Steve Meehan Janet Baronian a C - Also Present: Robert Keating, Superintendent Review of Fast Meeting Minutes The Minutes of August 7, 2001 were reviewed and were accepted as amended on a motion by Daniel Driscoll and seconded by Steve Meehan. General Business By a vote of 5-1, it was voted to reduce the opening charge for a cremation urn being interred in the same grave space per a request by William R. Faller. An administration fee of $50.00 shall be payed. Mr. Faller must state that the urn will be interred at the same time and in the same gravesite as his father. We request his reply in writing. Wood End is progressing despite a shortage of help. New Town council states a deed will be written for Wood End. This assures the Trustees that we do in fact have control. It will allow Bob Keating to lay out more lots. Each member received a copy of the 8/29/01 amended Operating Procedures, and a copy of trust funds for year ending June 30, 2001. Receipts Receipts are above normal. Adjourn The meeting adjourned at TOOPM. The nest regularly scheduled meeting of the Trustees will be Tuesday, October 2, 2001 at 6:00 P.M.
